My son called a number listed in the classified ads of our local paper. The cost was a total of $98.90, we both thought it would be a good investment and something he could do and still return to school. I placed the cost on my credit card we were told by Zach ID# 468 if after receiving it he could return it for a refund minus shipping and handling.
We received it shortly after and reviewed it and had intentions of completing the course, although he thought it was a waste of money. I even called questioning the validity of their statements about the certification exam. State Certification or Completion of exam certification? I was assured that the certification was national and would be accepted anywhere.
September 10 my son was incarcerated and knowing that he would be unable to take the course I put it in the mail the next day with a note for a refund. I included my phone and ask them to call if thy needed more info.
I called today and spoke with the manager after being told by the customer service representative that they could not issue a refund unless they spoke with him. The manager then tells me that by policy I was suppose to fill out a refund form and it was past 30 days and they could not send it to me to fill out because I could not be issued a refund after 30 days.
Even though I had a dated letter in front of me that was sent with the material and he acknowledged receiving the material I am still receiving no refund. After choice words of mine! And also explaining that his policy was only words, I hung up.
Quess what... What goes around, comes around!
