I am writing in "Details" the information advertised in "The Flyer", some "qotes" on the letter received and "quotes" on the package received from them which proves the false advertisement and fradulent actions.
The Advertisement in "The Flyer" reads: "$990-$2600 weekly mailing letters from home. $10.00 per envelope GUARANTEED! Easy, any hours, free information. Adelhpia Publishing. 1-888-447-4450 24hrs."
After calling the number provided which I found advertised on our weekly "The Flyer" I received an envelope with false advertisement and information.
The front of the envelope I recieved says "we want to send you 80 of our envelopes to stuff and send back to us, earning you $800.00!!". The letter states "Receive $10.00 for every envelope you stuff & return to us!!!". It also says "You simply fold our letters that we provide you with, stuff the letters into the envelopes, which we proved you with, and then seal the envelopes. After you seal the envelopes, simply return them to us for completion of payment."
Well, the order form is different, which if you want to make $600.00 you have to PAY $59.00 plus $20.00 for shipping and handling, and they will send 60 sales letters and 60 envelopes. Which of course is another "scam".
I sent them their original "membership fee" of $29.99 plus shipping and handling to suppossely receive my first set of envelopes and letters.
I received their stupid "here is your FREE $10.00 per envelope program" booklet and the fourth edition of their "working and Home" book, which is what my over $29.99 check paid for and not the "membership fee" they advertised.
Also, the $10.00 per envelope program is also advertised in their "rippoff" scam since the advertisement said THEY would provide the envelopes and the letters that would be stuffed in the envelope. According to the booklet, they are also using US as bait to rippoff other people. We are to "post" with OUR name and OUR addresses advertising "Their" Work at home booklet and have them send us self addressed stamped envelopes, we are to return to them and then they will send us the information back.
Which I am sure we will never received and then WE will be blamed for their "ripoff".
Also, they advertise if we are not satifsfied they will refund.
Well, that's another scam. The letter we originally receive says, "If you don't think you can make excellent money when you receive your package return it unused to receive a prompt and courteous refund." It also says, "If everything we stated in this letter is not 100% true you receive a refund!".
Well, at the end of the work at home book is the refund policy, and it says: "Please contact at least four (4) companies listed in this publication BEFORE you contact us for a refund for your package.
It also says: "To demonstrate that you made a legitimate effort to find work with our program, please send Adelphia Publishing, Inc. A copy of refusal letters, and letters of discontinued programs or unreciprocated correspondence."
NOW, on the back of the $10.00 per envelope booklet it says: "You must send us the envelopes the L.S.A.S.E. Came in. We must have these to confirm the date on the postmark on the outside envelope. Any envelope over 7 days old will not be accpeted." It also says: "Again no enevelopes will be processed for payment without the outside envelopes accompanying them."
And of course they added: "It is important to keep in mind when you send us a shipment it may take 4-5 days for us to receive it. Please plan ahead." And also: "Do not overnight or priority mail them to us. Use Parcel post only. Priority Mail and Express mail costs will not be reimbursed."
Of course, we will work for free, or worst yet, we are paying them to work for free because they will never receive any envelopes that are under 7 days old. And so they are much more than just "SOB's". I am sure they were born from ANIMALS. And their father's name is "SATAN".
I would love to hear the outcome of this Fradulent company.
I sent them a letter, and am also sending a letter to "The Flyer", hoping they no longer advertise them.
