In early Oct. 2002 I ordered 2 pairs of slippers for Christmas gifts. They did not arrive, so I bought them elsewhere. Upon reconciling my checking account statement, JD Marvel Products cashed my check for $16.95 on Oct. 28. They never communicated with me regarding this order. On Jan. 28 I called "Jason" at their customer service number and was informed that I would have to fax the front and back copies of my cancelled check to them. "Jason" also told me that according to their records I only paid for one pair of slippers, a total refund due of $7.90. I told him that I would fax the proof of pmt. If I were reimbursed for the copies and the fax fee, as I did not have a fax or copier at my home, and he told me that upon receipt of the fax, I would be "cut a check".
I then asked to speak to his supervisor and was told that there was not one. I faxed the required documentation to them on that same date, complete with a confirmation that they received it. I received a pair of slippers on 2/11, I refused them and faxed them again, stating my agitation and asking for a check to be expedited to me. Today, 2/19, I received a message on my phone from "Sandra" stating that my check would not be sent for 3 to 4 weeks, due to the fact that I refused the slipper package on 2/11! I have had it and want these jerks prosecuted for mail order fraud!
