According to their own paperwork given to me when I signed up, I was to be contacted when the contract expired for renewal options. I had decided not to continue with the service and was not going to renew.instead of contacting me, they let the renewal date roll by, and then attempted to "AUTO RENEW" the account on a credit card I no longer had. When I was finally contacted that my credit card "AUTO RENEWAL" had failed by my credit card company, I immediately contacted Verio who told me about the "AUTO-RENEWAL" and that I owed an additional 299.70 because I had surpassed the 30 day "AUTO RENEWAL" period.
After continuing to badger their barely responsive customer service, they told me 49.95 and gave me a cancellation procedure to follow which I attempted to do. I opted for that option just to get this issue completed before they start sending a collection agency after me or something. Now I am being told cancellation will be 100.00. I am attempting to do what they ask but at every turn I am given a new hoop to jump through and the amount continues to go up that they want me to pay for a service that should never have even existed in the first place if it wasn't for their bad business practices.
