Tri Star Platinum
Unsecured MasterCard ripoff

Guaranteed with $2,500 credit scam...

I received a phone call from this company. They were offering me a Credit Card. I told them, I'm not very interested, I don't need a new credit card. The lady was very nice and I decided to be polite and give her a chance.

I asked the basic questions:

Q: It is unsecured? A: NO
Q: Then, I won't be asked for a security deposit? A: No
Q: What is the maintenance fee? A: There is not maintenance fee
Q: What is the interest rate? A: There is not interest rate?
Q: Free of fees and interest? For how long? A: forever

Obviously, it was not sense for me in such marvelous offer. I requested more info about everything and the lady told me that she was only "pre qualifying" and once I would be qualified a customer service representative would give me whatever information I may request. As the other reporter I gave a fake information and I got to the next step.

A supervisor begun to ask for my personal information and I stopped him. I made the basic questions again with the same answer and he told me that there was a single initial processing fee of $194.96. I told him: what's your business then? You are giving me a permanent $2,500 credit, no fees, no interests for life, the $194.96 are going to cover you financial expenses for a short period of time only?

It doesn't make sense to me. He told me that they receive funds from creditors that are interested in helping people to build their credit. Obviously, it was garbage for me. I asked him to send me written information by mail, in order to be able to analyze their offer and run a check on their corporation. He told me he couldn't do that but he gave me the name of the corporation listed above plus the address. I told him that they may call me back in a few days after I have made a check on them.

I search by the address and the name of the corporation and there is not phone numbers listed to that name. The only company listed on this address is FENG SHUI Consulting. They don't have a web site either. I checked with the SEC data base and they don't have nothing listed on this corporation. Finally, I got some tips on the Tri Star Platinum Credit Card listed as fake in a consumer report site with files since 1996 with minor variations in the name along the years. I checked your web site -for the second time with success trying to identify rip-off - and I got another report.

It is obvious that the business is a non sense. They are going to collect the fee and you'll never get nothing back. I hope I will help others by posting this report.

Regards
