I have recently received 2 letters from this CS officer named Jonathan Dalton telling me I am past due on Child Support and that I have five days to send the money. I received the letters on the 18 of December and the letters were dated the 14.in one letter I was given four days to respond the other five days. The envelopes come with no date stamp and I could not have received them in time to comply with the demands from Jonathan Dalton.
I have sent my payment for support of my daughter who is out of state to the Texas AGs office and they were previously withheld from my child for nearly 6 months. This December I sent the payments to my daughters mother directly and sent a copy of the notarized affidavit she fillied out stateing that I have sent the payments for support and that I have not been late. It also stated that I was current and she receieved her payments for November 07, December 07, and January. I sent this all certified to the AG's office and following up with a complaint and this consumer complaints.
Now what happens again? It is January 15 and I received another two letters just today dated January 10. Jonathan Dalton says; " Our records indicate you owe past due support, please send your payment within five days. Thats impossible to do. Plus I already sent what is due.
The other letter gives me till the 25th to pay 400.00 an obscure amount that is also not owed.
