Do major research before you invest in Trek Nationwide California

I'm so sad when I read reports about people losing so much money with Trek. I lost a lot also, but I feel like a very lucky person because I'm not in credit card debt and have no major scars after my year in Trek. Yes, my YEAR in Trek. I have a similar story, I was a naive 22 year old who had just graduated from school and moved across country. I saw an ad in the paper for something like "Expanding company seeks 3-5 driven individuals... Blah blah... Sports minded, above average, etc..."

I remember this because this is soon what my ad looked like. I met all kinds of happy and excited people in the office and they were all around my age and seemed so genuinely interested in me that I bought everything hook, line and sinker. I happen to have very supportive parents who are entrepreneureal themselves and they actually supported me 100% with Trek AND paid for me to get 2 BIB'S! I thought I was on my way...

But soon I realized how shady the whole thing is... No one makes as much as they say they do, many people are very manipulative. I became a little manipulative myself and I told tons of people that if they bought product they'd make their money back, even though I hadn't sold practically anything.

The producats are way over priced, although if anyone out there has sinus headaches, the Microbiotic got rid of mine, and they're ok, but nothing spectacular. And I soon found myself on the phone to people being very vague and tricking people into coming to the office. I didn't mean to be this way, I had just been taught by my upline, who has quit of course, that I had to phrase the opportunity just so and that it would make more sense if they could see it in a presentation. I gave many presentations in my year, but I really hardly made any money. Its very easy to get sucked in by the fun atmosphere and its refreshing to think outside the box...

Trek can work, some of the products have benefitted people, but the negative is the deception as far as what to expect in the months ahead. I know people who have done it the right way, sold products, had home parties and have a solid customer base. But all of the crap about guarenteeing financial freedom after 5 years and trying to prey on people who have no money is just wrong. I was very tight with a lot of the "top 10" and they're very fake. Not every single one, but many.

I'm very glad I did Trek... I grew a lot as far as getting over a fear of public speaking, becoming more outgoing, learning about personality types, etc... These are skills that would help anyone in many aspects of life. I would say to anyone who is thinking of getting involved, be really wary, do it super part time if you decide to do it, don't get sucked into renting a desk for $400 bucks a month, attending every training or buying $4000 bucks worth of product. I still have tons of it.

I'm really sorry about anyone who had a horrible experience with Trek.

Learned a lesson
