Months ago charges from these companies appeared on our bank statements, I called the company and cancelled and told them the charges were not authorized. Now it is about 6 months later and the charges are appearing again, supposedly from a new membership, however we did not authorize anything or become members with anyone. They say you can cancel your membership, however that obviously does not work.
My husband did authorize a magazine subscription, and we believe this is when the charges were added to our account. However no additional memberships, charges were authorized.
How does anyone fight a company like this to shut them down and protect people? And can I get the overdraft fees they have caused to my account by taking money out in between paychecks... Close to $300 now.
