When I first joined the program, I was up to date with all my payments. But I wanted to pay off my debts as early and thought that they would truly negotiate for me and reduce my debts.
Upon joining, they told me to stop all payments immediately and start paying them by electronic transfer. I did so and about a year afterwards, I was summoned to court by one of my creditors. All Debt X/s did was give me a Legal Hot Line which I had to pay for and which was no use to me in court. I was left alone to face the music in court but I survived and got that account reinstated.By now, all my accounts were more than a $1000 than when I first joined.
I then realised that all Debt X/S was doing was trying to get my account so high and so far back unpaid, that my creditors would have no alternative than to try and settle.
Too Late. I asked for a refund but, as anyone would have guessed, they refused. This is their scheme, so why would they refund.
I then wrote to (i) The Dept of Agric & Consumer Complaints in Tallahassee, FL and also, to (ii) Better Business Bureau, Longwood, FL and to (iii) Office of the President, Washington, DC and to (iv) Office of the Attorney General, Tallahassee, FL and to (v) Office of the Attorney General, Washington, DC.
But to no avail. I would still like to get back my $3,430.20 plus costs and additional expenses that accrued for not paying for so long.
