My daughter recently called me saying that she and her husband had recieved a certificate in the mail offering fantastic "guarenteed" prizes. All they had to do was order some business cards for $500! Well, my son-in-law thought the price was high, but considering the prize that was being offered, he thought it was a great deal and was extremely happy.
They called the number provided and asked if they could pay the $500 by credit card. Thank the Lord that they did not accept credit cards! The women said they would pick up the money and to have a check ready. They wanted to pick it up that day! They would call her back with more information.
Well, thank goodness that my daughter had the insight to call me and ask what I thought about the whole deal. I immediately did a web search and came across this wonderful website warning consumers of these scumbags! I immediately called her back and said that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES was she to give money to these people.
Thank you, complaint, for having this information on the web. Too bad other unsuspecting people have been taken by these creeps.
