Mackenzie group is a fraud, they put themselves online as a free grant agency and when you call they tell you that you will receive $5000. Then they tell you that there will be a processing fee of $299.97 that they take out ou your checking account.
Once they take the money they give a a confirmationtion number and tell you that you should get $5000 or more depending on your financial situation and needs. Also they tell you that once the money is taken out that it would take about 15 to 20 days to recieve the money. So when you call them back they tell you that the money is frozen but in all actuallity the money has already been taken out.
They have a timeline that they are working on and they need to keep your money for a certain time so that you cannot dispute it. Then once the money is cleared and you call them back they tell you that they will be sending you out a package, and this package has 500 question, they say fill it out and mail it back asap to get your money.
So i asked them why did you not mention this in the very first phone conversation, and of course they had no answer. Then once the package came to me they tell you to get a confirmation number from the post office, and they say that it is to insure you that you get a signature that it was received, but in all actuality the confirmation number is just proof that you sent them the package, another way for you to say that you agree with this process.
So i just called them today to tell them that i want my money back and low and behold if the number has changed. They use fake names like james bryce and david and susan and refuse to give you there last names after they take you money. But before they give a last name so that you can trust them, but it is a fake name.
So i asked for a refund and they refused and i also asked for an address where they are located and they refused. Now to me when you ask for an address to a company that has your money, they should wilingly give out that information with no problem, but not this company.
When i asked what happened to the first company that i called 866 552 9411 all i have been getting was the voice mail he says that there company brought over the mackenzie group. So i asked him so what happens to people files he says that they still have them. So then i asked him what about the agencies that you all say that will help us get money becaus i thought you all where the grant company.
He states that once the application was received there will maile to us different applications of agencies that will help get the money, so i asked will i have to pay more money, he states that he does not know.
I called back a secon time and another lady that refused to give her name yelled at me and said that i was not getting my money back and hung up on me. Then i called a 3rd time and the gentleman stated that he was not going to give me any money back until they received my paperwork i let him know that they did not wait to take my money, so i do not have to wait to get it back.
So now i have called my back and am now disputing this company and i am going to file criminal charges also on the company i will let you know how it turns out.
