Ripoff, Misleading

Recently I came across the commercial for PCDI's at home high school completion for those missed years. I visited their website and filled the application to recieve more information in regards to the courses, which I did. Few days later I recieve a phone call by a PCDI Rep. Explaining to me the benefits and advantages of PCDI and that it would take 6 months to complete the missed high school year that I need fulfilled, she enrolls me over the phone with limited information. Requesting a 10 dollar deposit to ensure the enrollment process.

2 weeks go by and I recieve 2 packages from PCDI 1 with the study material and another one that is an Enrollment Agreement. I read the enrollment agreement and it states I have to submit transcripts to basically start where I left off, keep in mind the rep that initially contacted me ONLY asked me for what years I need and NEVER mentioned the necessity of transcripts from my previous high schools. I was unable to retrieve the transcripts so I call PCDI and inform them my situation, they tell me I have to complete 4 years through them due to the circumstances.

I decide to cancel my enrollment. They transafer me to a " specialist " and they require me to pay a cancellation fee without any hopes of refund on the deposit / payment that was made. They held me obligable to obtain such information as to the " Enrollment Agreement " when they already enrolled me over the phone without me having ANY knowledge of what was listed on the " Enrollment Agreement " nor did they inform me of the " Enrollment Agreement ".

If I had forknowledge that I would have to submit transcripts, I would have attempted to obtain them before enrolling. Due to their misleading / lack of information they have ripped me off for a total of about 160 dollars from the beginning to the end of the ordeal. Their only defense to my case over the phone was " Did you take the initiative to ask the rep of the requirments of enrolling?" the obvious question to that is NO. Since when does a consumer have to ask a question of eligibility when they are already being accepted? Keep in mind once again, the REP asked me what grades I need and then asked what " type " of coarse I wanted. The Online coarse or the over mail coarse, then asked for my CC number. Without giving me any information that was in the " Enrollment Agreement " which was sent 14 days AFTER I was already enrolled. I would not have this complaint if they had informed me of all things that is listed in the " Enrollment Agreement " over the phone, since that is when I enrolled, yet they held the information back from me and then made it an "obligation " to me to find out such things?

Please watch out for this company.
