The broker quoted me one interest rate and charged a higher one in the final contract. Unknown to me until the first bill came in. Two weeks of working over the phone and emails with broker left me trusting him/them to the point where when the notary showed up, I just started signing papers. Then the bill came in for a higher payment than what I was quoted. That's when the paperwork was looked in to and higher rates were found. They also charged over 11k in charges to process, falls under the catagory of unbundling also excessive prepayment penalties. I told them what this was doing to me financially and they told me to get another job.
They adveritised a "we'll beat anyones deal" and promissed two free round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the U.S. Then claimed they didn't know about any flier. Then they sent a check for $500, not sure how far two people can get with that.
