Invent tech took my idea and prototype drawing and $2200 of $7500 that they originally charged me. When they kept insisting on me giving more money, gave me packets they called manufacturers packets to mail to companies, they stated my product could not be patented until someone was found to manufacture the product.
I have done my research since and found that's not so. I got suspicious when there was no response from anyone i sent these letters. They sent 'em a packet and i decided to find telephone numders for these so-called companies. Needless to say some did not even exist the 3 which existed made chemicals, soaps etc. When i called invent tech told i was sent the wrong list. Then i was told my project manager left the company for south america.
1 1/2 years later i saw my invention in a parenting magazine being advertized with the exact name. Exact words i gave them as description and use word for word i called invent tech they told me they did not know what happened. I made appointment to meet them. Someone met me in the corridor and told me they only take messages no one was in the office. An attorney told me i cant do anything others could be thinking the same thing at the same time.
I comtacted the company and was told the umits are sold for $240 each. I also found out patent was granted 4-5 months after iwent to invent tect.
