Was driving home and guy rolled down his window at the stop light and asked if I was Italian. I said no and then he asked if I spoke Spanish and I said yes. He then said in Spanish that he was an Italian designer and he has some jackets that he wanted to show me but he had to do it quick because he was on his way to the airport. I pulled over and he showed me his Italian passport and said his name was Giovanni. He pulls leather jackets out of his trunk and starts talking about how much these jackets really cost (referring to Emporio Armani). Then he precede to put a lighter to one of the leather jackets to prove they won't burn and that they are really leather. I said no thanks several times but he continued to be very persistent. He said help me out I need to pay for my rental car and get home to Italy while showing a Alamo car rental agreement. I think the car was a Green Chrysler Pacifica. He went on and on then finally I said all I can give you is $200 dollars for six jackets. He looked upset but took the money. The jackets looked really nice but I was feeling suspicious of the whole thing so I decided to dig on the net and see what I could find. Wow... This guy is pulling the same exact scam all over the place. He needs to be caught and I want my money back.
