"Global Solutions" has changed its tactics. If you have posted your resume on the internet, be wary.
The recruiter managed to find my resume posted on a popular career website. He gave me the impression that they were a "big" marketing firm which stumbled upon my resume on the internet. He read qualifications off my resume and said that I matched what they were looking for.
He quickly scheduled me for an interview, on a Saturday, saying that their Sales VP was arriving from corporate office and would be giving a presentation. This presentation he said, would explain more about the company and the nature of the job.
What tipped me off that this might be a MLM scheme, was when I googled the company name and could not find any info. I asked the recruiter for a web address saying I wanted to be prepared for the interview, and he gave me the parent company's web address i. E www.aloeonline.com
Reading the FDA website, I found out that the parent, Aloe Commodities International, Inc., had recalled 1600 bottles of Solutions IE Ageless Formula II because they contained a significantly higher-than-labeled level of vitamin D3. The product was distributed by independent distributors nationwide. Consumers who had purchased Solutions were urged to return it to either Aloe Commodities International, Inc., 2161 Hutton Drive, Carrollton, TX. 75006 or to Solutions International, 1272 South 1830 West, Orem, Utah 84058.
Finally, when I googled "Global Solutions & MLM", it led me to this website and confirmed all my supsicions. I figured that the company had to "change" its name to "Global Solutions" to avoid bad publicity.
