I called to speak to someone about a charge on my debit card almost 5 weeks ago, something that I did not authorize the use of my card for. I left several messages with the phone number listed on my statement, which is 909-930-3047, asking that the order be cancelled or for someone to please contact me back. No one EVER did. This number should not have be supplied with the transactions if this is not a valid company number. On 10-07-05 I find that I have now been charged $99.90 from LeanLife.

After searching for an alternative number and finding it, being 909-930-3087, I spoke to Daisy. I was informed that there was nothing that could be done; the product had already been shipped out. Now I must wait for this package, return it with a tracking number fees out of my own pocket, and return it to wait patiently for the company to refund almost $100. This entire process, I doubt will take less than 30 days. Literally unbelievable, considering I attempted to stop this within an hour of the charge appearing on my statement.

As you can imagine, I am quite furious. For one, why do they supply an invalid number? This entire situation would have never occurred if someone would have either picked up the phone on the more than 10 occasions I called or returned any of my messages. Second, Daisy conveniently hung up on me when I showed frustration at having to pay to send this package back that I never had any idea of it coming, since I did not order it. The attitude and hanging up on' I received from Daisy was extremely uncalled for and did not better the situation.

I have returned product as instructed and it was accepted by the company on 10-24-05 at 8:11am according to the tracking information I received at the post office. I am expecting a refund in the amount of $99.90. I have called the customer support line, 909-930-3087, several times each day for the past 3 days, and have left several messages. There is never an answer, just a long wait before a recording asks me to leave a message. I have yet to receive a return call.

I have since filed a report with the Utah BBB.
