VistPrint - MWI Business Max
Credit Card Fraud, Deceptive Trade Practices and Violated their own Privacy Statements

I was recently billed on September 02 by MWI Businessmax and McAfee for charges in excess of $45.00. I had recently purchased business cards from VistaPrint.com on July 18th.

I have used their services for the past two years with no major problems until now.

When I went to Google to find out who MWI Businessmax was, I came upon your web site and reports.

For security reasons I use a different E-Mail address for Online purchases. That is why I was able to trace what happen very quickly. When I called Businessmax that asked me either my membership ID or zip code. I didn't know what membership ID they were talking about so I used my zip code. When I used my zip code related to my credit card account (Another security measure) I knew someone had stolen my credit card information.
I have since found out that not only has my credit card and billing information been compromised but birthdate and other personal data has also been stolen.

VistaPrint.com has not only violated their own privacy statements policies and procedures but have violated the safety and security of all customers that have done business with them. At this point I don't know if it VistaPrint.com or someone in their organization that has violated my privacy.

It doesn't matter at this point because the information was divulged by VistaPrint.com.

Here is the important information regarding this security breach by VistaPrint.com. This is addressed to all victims that has been affected since June 28th.

If you have been a victim or are still being a victim, these things you must do immediately.

Cancel all debit cards and credit cards that have been used to stop the recurring charges.

File a report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as a "Victim of Identity Theft",

Notify one of the three major credit bureaus and put an "Identity Theft Alert" (Freeze) on your credit bureau files.

Who ever did this has enough personel information to open up new credit card accounts in your name.

File a complaint with the U.S. Attorney General Office in Washington, D.C. Citing you have become a "Victim of Identity Theft" by one or more companies that operate on the Internet.

You tell them you have been a victim of Credit Card Fraud, Internet Fraud, Unfair Trade Practices, and possibly one or more parties have developed a conspiracy to defraud hundreds if not thousand's of victim's across the United States.

They have also commited this same actions against other Online Businesses such as McAfee and others.

I will be filing a report with the U.S. Attorney Office in Washington, D.C. Asking for an immediate investigation into this matter. Also, I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission via telephone tomorrow morning and asking for a similar investigation from the "Identity Theft" perpective.

I will ask for an immediate cease and dissist of these practices by all parties in this matter. I will also ask for immediate restitution to all victims in this matter. I will be notifying both offices that I will be putting out a "National Press Release" on a "Consumer/Business Identity Theft Alert" involving these two companies and what they have done to me.
