The statements about Titlemax are very true. They not only charge you so much interest that you can't pay the note off, but even when you pay more than you are required they still call you after you tell them that its for more than one payment.
They don't just call you one time, they start calling the day its due, then continue several times a day calling you. I had a death (murder) in my husband's family and told them that we were dealing with a lot at the moment, was not where I could get to the address and even told them that as soon as I could I would send the payment, adding more than the entire 6 dollar required payment. Come on six dollars and they are going to hound you to death, when you have a very serious matter on your going on in your life.
Even a business should have compassion. We are military and I think that having moved states away due to reassignment and something that serious going on that they would not call continuous. And they keep adding so much to your account that it just goes up and up so you have to keep paying them forever.
This is such a rip off. For a mere 500 dollars I have now paid this company in excess of 2000 dollars and it still is not paid off. I also think that there is a limit on how many times they can call someone and the times at which they are allowed to call as well. Like before 7am this is just like they are loan sharks instead of a title loan buisness. Even going as far as to call my family and tell them that they were filing auto theft charges on me because I moved out of state? Come on, we are MILITARY and they knew that when they did the loan. Am I suppose to stay behind the only year my husband is home out of what will be three years until they are paid in full. I DO NOT THINK SO.
They are crazy and that is slander stating that I have stolen my own car, I doubt my MP husband would do or let me do such a thing, or so it would seem!
