I have intentionally scrambled the IP address on my computer so that NOBODY from Bernard Haldane can find out who I am.
I am currently employed by Bernard Haldane as (you guessed it) a "Vice-President" which means I am a salesman for this company. There is no way I can or will try to prove it to you. You will have to judge this letter on its own merits and decide for yourself whether I am being truthful.
The reason I am risking my OWN job is that I want all of you who have bravely told your Bernard Haldane stories on this site to know that you ARE hurting this company. Rumor has it that recently some employees were told NOT to look at the consumer complaints because they were driving the site-hit numbers through the roof! The more site hits, the stronger the presence of this site on the search engines.
We think that the Haldane leaders are calculatingly trying to push this site farther down the search engine list so that nobody can find it. Go to any search engine and type in Bernard Haldane and hit search. As you will see, Haldane has pushed through more and more stupid site names so that the consumer complaints can't be found easily by a potential client researching the company. That's because that is all they CAN do! They can't just tell everybody the truth about what they sell because very few people would spend thousands of dollars to buy it.
The reason why most people who have written their stories here are not clients (I don't really know this is even true), as Haldane always says, is because they found this site due to research on the search engines. I'm scared that more and more current clients will find the consumer complaints and want ALL of their money back as some clients have already received.
I am desperate to find another job myself in these tough times. This is hard to do while I work here. I may have to just quit. I have also changed what I am saying during the sales presentation. Nearly everything I've read from your letters about our techniques to get the sale is basically true. But, the company and the leaders taught us these sales techniques. I have been trying to honestly just tell my clients what we do but our prices are ridiculous, as all of you know, and that hurts my sales numbers.
Meanwhile, I find myself rooting for all of you even while what you are doing hurts me. Crazy, I know. I hope to be leaving Haldane soon. I'm sure there are going to be more investigations and I don't want to be working there when it happens. I think some employees could be forced to testify somewhere or tell what they know.
I can tell you one thing. The salespeople ARE worried that their names will appear on this site because it is embarrassing. They will be publicly identified as someone perpetrating a fraud for the life of this website. So, if you want to get back at Haldane the most, I guess shining the light on the salespeople and advisors will eventually get to the owners. I just hope to be gone before you shine it on me!
