Complaint / Review
Nouveau Tech Society
With such obvious falsities, why can't they be prosecuted for false advertising?

Glad to see that so many others realized this falsity so quickly.

For me, it was rather obvious in the second sentence: "this letter came to you by first-class mail, not by third-class bulk mail." Just look at the envelope this came in; it's marked "presorted" and uses only a discount rate of 29 cents in postage.

This fact in postage rate also disclaims another statement: "this association picks a handful of individuals from around the world." To achieve that 29 cent rate, however, a minimum of 200 of these letters were mailed simultaneously.

And viewing multiple complaints on the web over very many years disproves another claim in the letter; they claim to only contact people "every seven years" regarding their organization. But it's apparent that folks have been contacted by them every consecutive year for quite a few years, due to the consistent annual complaints found on the Internet.

Isn't public issuance of such false claims, with obvious intentions to achieve sales in the long run, an illegality?
