I guess it's true what they say, "If it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is!" It's too late for me, but maybe this will make some of you, who are thinking of possibly purchasing a digital camera from BestChoiceDigital, think twice.
I searched everywhere on the internet for the Fuji Finepix E550 digital camera and BestChoiceDigital had the best price by far! $199.00 (every other place had it for $280). I ordered it and then was required to verify my order by phone (???!). When you call they start telling you all this stuff like, "The camera you got is good, but it doesn't come with batteries or a warranty, you can upgrade for $100!" Then if you try to cancel they tell you that it has already been processed and there is nothing you can do about it. If you say you want what you originally ordered, they tell you it's going to take 4-6 weeks then because it comes from outside of the U.S.
If you want to return anything you don't get shipping refunded ($15-20!) and you are subject to a restocking fee of 15%. This place is just bad news! They try to butter you up to make it seem like you are getting a good deal like, "as a first time customer you get the one-time price of..." They have an answer for everything and they get upset with you for challenging their responses. Not to mention that you can be on the phone on hold listening to some obnoxious music for 25 minutes before they even get to you. If you're lucky they won't put you on hold again!
I feel really stupid for not realizing that this was too good to be true and I hate being deceived. I hope this will help anyone and everyone from making the same mistake I did.
STAY AWAY FROM BestChoiceDigital!!!
