Palisade Collection LLC. Added a collection account to my credit file in the amount of $253.00 today. It is supposedly for an ATT account. I have no knowledge of this account as I have not activated any cellular phones recently nor have a home phone in my name.in fact, I have not applied for any credit since January (when I bought my truck) yet this account was opened 11/28.
After researching Palisade Collections I learned that they also operate in conjunction with OSI Collections. Funny, since several months ago I had an OSI Collection account from ATT in the amount of $254.00 that I PAID OFF! Now I have another account from the same company using a different name.
Does anyone suggest a course of action for me? I have just submitted my dispute with the credit reporting agency, so I suppose I must wait on that. I have recently taken care of all the negative marks on my credit file in order to obtain my chosen career (in law enforcement) so this has definitely come at a bad time!
