My roommate and I moved into 4941 Chestnut Street, Apt 1 in August. Within in the first two days we spotted a few mice. I found a dead mouse underneath a radiator and another dead mouse was found in the stairwell. We reported the issue to the landlord and she called an exterminator, who was not marked by his clothing and looked more like a neighborhood friend. We had an issue where the kitchen electrical outlet blew and the men that came to fix this issue also looked like neighborhood friends. There were several times where an unmarked electrician came out and in once instance the landlord's boyfriend got into an argument with the man over his payment. There was also an instance where the landlord's boyfriend stuck his head through the door of our apartment (the landlord lives in the apartment on floor 2) and it was highly inappropriate not to knock or ask permission first. After living there for over a month and still seeing mice the landlord refused to call an exterminator and told myself and my roommate if we were uncomfortable living there, she would suggest that we move out. We requested several times for the heat to be turned on and the landlord kept promising to turn the heat on for us, but she never did. After moving out and cleaning the apartment Mrs. Robinson stated that everything looked good, but when we came back 3 days later to pick up our deposit, her boyfriend stated she was a woman and didn't know any better and she had changed her mind about returning our full deposit.
