Dishonest dealings, typical fly by night operation

I cantacted Global sun pools in May to discuss buying a pool. The salesman on the phone asked for all my information including my SSN. I told him I do not intend to finance and I do not want my credit report ran. We hung up. He later called back and told me it was just to verify that I was for the safety of the salesman and my credit report would not be run. Thay had to make sure that I was who I said I was. I was at the bank yesterday and found out that theu had ran my credit anyway. It is against the law to run a credit report without your pernission. This is dishonest buisness. I am glad that I did not buy a pool.
