I contacted the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board and they told me this contractor does not have a roofing license and that he never has had one to put roofs on. I had this contractor, Robert E. Brewster, owner of Maximus Metal Roofing, Inc.install a metal roof on my house in Sept. 2011. The entire experience was a nightmarefor me; lots of no shows on days they were supposed to come, no response 90% of the time to my phone calls and emails asking when they would complete their work. Mr. Brewster accuses his customers of harrassing him when they call or email him repeatedly to come fix his work or the leaks in their roofs. I have seen Brewster tell all klinds of lies in rebuttal to a customer's complaint. He tries to accuse the customer, blames his liability insurance (and check that too becuase the certificate he gave me lapsed in Nov. 2011 and that insurance company is looking for him too), takes part of what the customer says and twists that to fit his statements of untruth.
