This person/company accepted a payment of $5000 as downpayment on the purchase of a property and the balance was due on completion of sale.

After he received the money he then told me the propery had been broken into and a lot of damage had been done and would need a higher price for the property, I refused as i had agreed to purchase the property at a price in good order.

He then informed me he had lost the property saying he was only the third party and didn`t own the property in the first place and said he had now lost the deposit and did not have the funds to return to me

I beleive what he has done is illegal and still has refused to return my money.
