We were trusting and learned a tough lesson because we paid 750 up front. ML Designs and Marie Kiraly was HORRIBLE - she has a fantastic website and appeared professional but when we were not satisfied and the job was incomplete she would not give us any refund at all. We hired her for our living room - all she did was provide a drawing. She did no measurements, she did not do lighting or drapes/fabrics or color or accessories. When we tried to contact her she did not return our efforts. We selected a sectional couch and tried to contact her to finish the project but she did not get back to us. When we said we were not happy with her lack of effort/responsiveness she refused to give us any money back - That is WRONG. She said she put in hours and hours but we don't agree. She put in about 5 hrs of the 10 hrs she promised. We asked for a partial refund and all she said was she wanted to finish the job and would not return our monies. Marie ripped us off - she took our money and then couldn't be reached. She is completely unethical, morally corrupt and a thief. Buyer beware!!! We tried to be fair and requested a FAIR refund for an uncompleted job. She said she didn't guarantee satisfaction. Someone should not be paid for an incomplete job and should be fair and provide a fair partial refund.
