In 2006 Ipaid $22,000 to have peeling paint removed from my 2 1/2 storyhistoric house and the house primed and painted. After one year, the paint begin falling off.
Algernon Ashford blamed the paint. He promised to repaint the house after he contacted the paint company. I waited two years, while receiving occasional assurances that he would repaint the house. Then he told me he couldn't afford to do it until the economy got better, and that was the last I heard from him.
Looking at the paint cans and discussing the matter with experts, I concluded interior primermust have beenused instead of exterior primer. After the third yearI had run out of time, and Mr. Ashford ignored my emails, letters, and visits to his office.
Finally, I had to hire another company to scrape and paint my house (again) before I moved out of state.
