I hired Yarborough Construction LLC... Bradenton, Florida to remodel a home.
Brandon Yarborough, owner, and I signed a contract. I gave him a total of $40,000.00. I do not live near the job site so I had a represenative to look after the contractor and to keep me informed. My represenative told me that Yarborough construction was really messing up the house. They were doing shoddy work on the roof, sawed off a section of the deck, tore out the stairs, crushed the septic leechfield and other assorted damage. Yarborough construction hired a caretaker to look after their tools and supplies. The caretaker brought a friend over and between the two of them made a pig stye out of the house. I tried to get Brandon to fix the damage and finish the roof and other projects started. He wouldn't do it. He even went on vacation for 3 weeks. He stopped returning my phone calls and emails. I eventually had to fire him. He will not give me any of the money back.
