These people are scam artists. Do not expect to get service, let alone a call back.
I called on Monday morning, August 2nd to request service on our A/C. At 2:50 PM Atlantic A/C called to inform me that they could not get out until Thursday.
I told her that was way too long to go without A/C in Dallas Texas with 105 degree weather.
I called Empire back to inform them that I needed someone else to come out sooner. They resubmitted the claim to Walker Air Conditioning. Walker A/C called and said that they could come out on Wednesday, but that they would call us in the morning to confirm.
No one called.
I called them again and were told that they could make it on Friday, between 1:00-3:00.
Friday came, and by 4:30 no one showed, no one called.
We called them again to say that no one was here. They claimed that they were running 2 hours late and that someone would come.
No one came. No one called.
It is now Saturday, we have gone with no A/C since Monday. I call Empire to explain the situation and am told that no one has the authority or ability to do anything about it and that I will have to wait another 24-48 hours to get a call back from a contractor. I am also hung up on.
August 10th, I call back pretending to submit a claim now for the first time since I am not getting anywhere from the claim I submitted on Aug 2nd.
I finally get a technician out to my home and he finds that the motor went out on my unit. He writes me a receipt, I pay him his $49.00 - and he calls me to say he has the part but Empire is not approving it!!! Meanwhile he cashes my $49.00 check and I am still without AIR!!!
Stay far away - they are an uncaring company - YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.
