The British Home Office.in my capacity as an immigration representative, I have to intimate you on the United Kingdom
Laws and policies in regards to Highly Skilled Migrant seeking leave to enter the United Kingdom. A person seeking leave
To enter the United Kingdom as a Highly Skilled Migrant may be admitted for a period not exceeding 2 years, provided the Immigration Officer at the port of entry is satisfied that each of the below requirements are met;
(i) Holds a valid Home Office work permit;
(ii) Is not of an age which puts him outside the limits for employment.
(iii) Is capable of undertaking the employment specified in the work permit.
(iv) Does not intend to take other employment except as specified in his work permit.
(v) In the case of a person in possession of a work permit which is valid for a period of 12 months or less, intends to leave the United Kingdom at the end of his/her approved employment.
(vi) Holds a valid United Kingdom entry clearance certificate for entry except he is a British National (Overseas), a British overseas territories citizen, a British Overseas citizen, a British protected person or a person who under the British Nationality Act 1992 is a British subject.
In other words to apply for your work permit & entry visa, I have attached (1) GATSA forms, (2) Entry clearance forms, (3) Entry chart forms for this purpose. These forms should be filled and sent back immediately with these requirements;
A) Your academic/professional certificates.
B) Photo page of your international passport/Or Driver’s license if passport is under process.
C) A passport photograph
D) And entry security clearance certificate via the UK Metropolitan Police Department.
There are three stages involved in this process.
Stage 1[Application for Entry Clearance Certificate]
Requirement (D) will be applied and obtained at the UK metropolitan police department. The entry security clearance procedures are measures adopted by the British Government to check the status of Expatriates / individuals / or religious groups through their High Commission/Or Embassies in UK. Also it is a pre-requisite and means to check identities of individuals who intend to live and work in the United Kingdom for a long period of time.
Stage 2 [Submission and Screening of Documents AT the Home Office
Prior to the release of the entry clearance certificates by the UK police department, the entire documents [i.E.international passports, Gatsa Forms, Academic Certificate and entry clearance certificates (which will be obtained from the police department)] will be forwarded to the home office screening department for the release of your work permit papers.
Stage 3 [Approvals of Work Permit and Entry Visa]
While it takes two or more weeks for a work permit to be released by the Home Office, the entry clearance visa will take few days.in pursuance and actualization of your visit in UK by March 7th, the procurement of your entry visa is paramount at the moment. Please fill out the entry application forms, chart forms and submit copies of a verifiable ID CARD e.G.international passport, Driver’s License or National ID CARD.
I will proceed with Stage 1, once i receive the entry forms and identification document. Once your identity card is verified at the appropriate authorities by the UK metropolitan police department, further instruction will be provided for the issuance of the entry security clearance certificate. It is based on the release of the entry security clearance certificate that the home office visa section will approve your entry visa immediately.
Provisions have been made for references required in section C of entry application forms. I will be your reference attorney, while the police officer who will be in charge of your application will stand as your reference security officer once your ID CARD is verified.
In the chart Form, your application falls under [Code– EC0012] category “Highly Skilled Migrants. To void delays in your entry visa process, submit the visa requirement first, and then you can proceed with the submission of the Gatsa forms and academic professional certificates which are required for your work permit application.
Scan all the forms, passport photo, academic certificates and international passport via email attachment. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Dear Philip Steele,
The following requirements were submitted at the Home Office screening department today; 1. Gatsa Forms, 2.international passport, 3. Academic/Professional certificates. Therefore the entire documents will be endorsed by various departments at the home office, once the required entry clearance certificate is obtained at the police department.
Today, progress has been made in obtaining the home office required entry clearance certificate. After due verification of your international passport at the US embassy, the police department provided further instruction in pursuance and issuance of the entry security clearance certificate.
Attached is the payment proforma invoice issued by the metropolitan police department this afternoon. Payment should be made in accordance to the instructions embedded on the payment proforma invoice. [Please see attachment for further guidelines].
When payment is made, you are required to scan & send the payment slip via email
Attachment. Also as mutually agreed in the signed contract agreements the payment slip should be sent to Halliburton HR for reimbursement.
Once i receive the payment slip, I will forward the same to the police department for further action. Your entry visa will be release on submission of the security clearance certificate at the Home Office, while your work permit will be released by the end of next week.
