I googled pool steps and saw some stairs I wanted to order at Poolcenter.com. I placed the order. I paid $500.00 for the pool stairs and $260.48 for shipping. I received some pool stairs, but they were different from the ones I ordered. Because of the bottom bars, I was not able to use the stairs they sent me. I spent hours on the phone with their service technicians and Catherine Ledford trying to get some stairs that would fit my pool. They were not able to help me, so I told them I wanted to return what I had received and get my money back. They told me I would have to pay to send the stairs back, but I refused since the mistake was theirs. I did not get what I ordered. They finally agreed to pay the shipping costs back to them. I sent the stairs back and am still waiting for my refund. I received an email from Justin Sheffield offering to send me the amount left after taking shipping costs from the original cost of the stairs (only approx. $250). I think they are ripping me off since I paid $760.48 and did not receive the stairs I ordered. The company makes the mistake and the consumer has to pay. Poolcenter.com rips the customer off!
