A friend's propane tank was at 5% and they called Mount Vernon Bottled Gas company for a load of propane. They was told that they would be delivering propane all weekend but it could be 3-5 days to get to them, but if they paid an additional $225.00 they would deliver the next day. My friend has 3 children so they needed the propane badly.
Another friend called the same company and they got their propane without having to pay extra because they delivered it on a Friday. When the propane was delivered, they charged them $2.55 per gallon (most propane companies is not charging ($1.80 - $1.95 per gallon and left a bill for $552.65. However, they made them pay $768.00. When my friend called the company the lady on the phone started lying to her about the delivery fee. This company has lost a lot of business because of their practice of deceiving customers.
