My wife and I ordered a Thomasville bedroom set from Privette's fake company back in August. We were told that it had arrived in their warehouse and he was waiting to put it on a truck. We had already sent our 50% deposit of $3500. We were just informed by the NC Attorney General that Privette was arrested by the FBI, however he somehow bailed himself out and is back in business.
Please be aware that Privette performed the same fraudulent activities in South Carolina under the same name and was finally arrested and banished from the state. However under North Carolina law, he is able to keep running his business even though numerous complaints have filed in.in fact, there are som many complaints, the web site for the attorney general has a specific link just for Carolina Furniture.
