In October we requested a metal building (storage) from KSTB. We offered them a deposit of $6880.00 (25% of the sum total agreement (Display 1) cost of $27,993) to lock in a cost and shipping costs, and closed a "Distribution Time Verification" (Display 2) for that spring of 2008.in August of following the conclusion of the building site, we attempted to get hold of KSTB, nevertheless all their telephone numbers where disconnected. I had been ready to obtain the brand new figures in the Ky Better Business Office. Upon calling KSTB they mentioned they might not recognize the agreement because of the boost of the price of steel. They provided a modified agreement (Display 3) to meet up the initial cost, but left off half the characteristics like the three storage gates, the four windows, the 12ft x 48 foot drop ceiling, gutters, overhangs, soffitts, and eaves. They mentioned I really could purchase them in a later period or buy them locally. KTSB stated the brand new price of the storage as initially designed could be roughly $36,000. I expected them to estimate the initial setup that KSTB had cited in March. Their estimate (Exhibit 5) is:, 568.52 including shipping from Florida.
We did study the organization (KSTB) just before using the services of them. We approached the Greater Business Agency but didn't recognize the BBB’s are individual organizations so nothing got on the corporation, locally. We currently recognize the Ky Better Business Institution has them listed as poor.
I'd just like a total reimbursement of our deposit. This task should be finished when I possess the building site finished such as the basis put.
By October 20 I've not noticed from KSTB, KBB, or even the Kentucky Attorneygeneral's workplace on continue with solving this criticism. Please don't think about this event shut till I revise this posting.
