Yet, they require attendance at meetings, dictate dress, script the Sales presentation, Control the Appointments, and provide illegal forms to be used in the sale of the system. There are 22 things that differentiate an Employee from a 1099 Contractor. Owens Corning crosses the line 18 times. These people are clearly EMPLOYEES, not CONTRACTORS. That makes Owens Corning responsible for their Workman's Comp Insurance, and half of the EMPLOYEE'S FICA. Owens Corning manages to pay neither.
