Found "The Connection" at the local Mohegan Sun Casino Home Show. The products George Simco's company had on display looked good, and the woman he had representing his company gave my wife and I a price list that looked great.

Finally met with George Simco some weeks later at his residence which is also his place of business. When I showed George the price list he said it wasn't for the cabinets I inquired about at the show. I was nearly ready to walk out right then. Frustrated that I had traveled some distance for a deal that didn't exist, I decided to listen to what he had to offer.

I saw another sample of the cabinet I had in mind and he wrote up an order saying that it would be ready in about 10 days as he has to go to the warehouse in New Jersey to get them from his "Partner". 10 days came and went and George was not ready, with the excuse that he wasn't going right away to pick them up because he's been really busy.

Another period of time goes by, and now his house burns down... More delays. About 1.5 weeks late George calls and says he has the cabinets. I call George back, and he says there is a problem, that one of the cabinets is still not here but he is going to "run after it" Finally after 3 weeks the order is said to be here. I go and get the order and pay him the final balance. He is missing spacers that I ordered, but I decide to allow him to provide those later.

I get home and notice there are problems with the sides of the cabinets. The staining process is blotchy, distorted, and uneven. Some cabinets are missing stain in some spots all together and these areas will be exposed. I also find that he has shorted me a cabinet. I immediately call him 1.5 hours after leaving his business and picking them up to tell him of he problems and my displeasure with these cabinets.

George says he will "call the rep" and get right back to me. He calls back shortly to tell me the Rep is willing to work with me and my problems. I inform him that there already have been too many delays in my order, and that I do not have time for these additional problems. I inform him that well over 50% of the cabinets have external cosmetic defects that I can see without removing them from their boxes.

I also inform him that he shorted me a cabinet all together. I tell George that these cabinets need to be returned to him as I do not have time for these problems that he has caused me. Being in the cabinet business, he shoudl have seen the problems that these cabinets have. He has sold me defective products that are seconds at best. These are not first quality. He reluctantly says I can return the cabinets. Then he says he has to talk to the rep again and he will call me back in an hour.

George Simco never calls me back so I call him after 2 hours. He says he hasn't heard back from "the rep" yet. He says it may be today (Saturday) it may be Sunday or it could even be Monday and not to call him, he will call me. I tell George I need to take these back to him and that I can not store them as I need the space for the other construction projects.

I never hear back from George so I call him on Monday. George says he's away from home/the office so to call him back in an hour. I call him back... He's still away from home and he thinks there will be a fax there when he get's back. He says "he really hates to do this to " (yeah, right) I informed him that this is his problem, not some rep in New Jersey as I bought this product from him, and it is defective.

George gives the excuse that his "partner" in New Jersey is the "Money Man in this operation and so we have to do what he says" He says to call him back at 6 pm (in 3 hours) I call back at 6:20 and he's not answering and as usual, his cell phone message box is full. Numerous other attempts of contacting George Simco have gone unanswered for 2 & 1/2 weeks now. I am stuck with product that I can not use due to defects, and an order that still has yet to be entirely filled. George Simco appears to be the only employee - himself, so he and the company are one and the same.

At this time I believe there never was a "rep" to speak of. I believe this was a diversion tactic while he was waiting for my check to go through. I'm sure he would have some sort of excuse if I asked how to contact this "rep" myself. He been nothing but excuses and now is impossible to contact.

Anyone that does business with this individual or company is asking for trouble. He is dishonest, disorganized, sells second rate product and does not stand behind it. I basically consider him to be a crook and he deserves no business.
