I signed up with Newport Cleaners for Dry Cleaning/Laundry and drop-off services. I gave them my credit card number as a "Security".
In the interim, I found my clothes delivered with blood stains on them. On challenging the cleaners, they refused to accept or own responsibility for this.
On April 29th, I found they had charged my credit card for the amount of $75.30. I did not know what this charge consisted of, and when I contacted the merchant, they refused to reverse the charge or provide me with a monthly invoice. I did not authorize them to charge my credit card for monthly amounts.
