My dream home turned into my nightmare home.
The house was to be finished in 90 days, it turned out to be 11 months.
The home has major defects, leaking roof, floor board sagging, poor heating, cooling, cracking and separating of front porch. Also, the lot was not given a rough grade, the downspout is not (pipe from the downspout) buried underground. Several other flaws are visible. While Custom Design Homes has said that they would repair the flaws, they did not show up.
I have been fighting with them for 4 years. (1yr. On my own-3yr's with a lawyer) I asked for them to buy the house back, but was told that there was not a good market for homes, yet they have built condos up the road. The jury trial is slated for June.
