All My Sons Moving And Storage, J's Moving And Storage
Do not! Do not! Do not! Use J Moving and Storage, dba All My Sons Ripoff

J' Moving and Storage, doing business as "All My Sons" in Roswell, Georgia, represents everything that is wrong with the moving and storage industry. My report could fill a novel. I will summarize some of the pertinent points.

Mover promised to show up at 8:00AM. They showed up at 3:00PM. They were still unloading at my new home at 3:30 in the morning.

Contract called for two trucks. They sent one.

Contract called for crew of nine. They sent seven, three of whom were illegal, uninsured aliens with no moving experience, and three of whom were the truck driver's wife, mother-in-law and slender teenage son.

The sales rep grossly underestimated the number of boxes and supplies the move would require. When I complained, the company rep, Ryan Kelso, said "you got what you contracted for".

The packers ran out of tape and boxes. I had to go to Office Depot and get them some more.

Not a single item in my household was properly packed. Obviously fragile items were thrown into boxes without proper padding or wrapping. We haven't finished unpacking. But so far, we've found dozens of broken fragile items.

Contract stated that payment was due before the crew would unload. OK, that's standard in the industry. However, they had to make a return trip the following day because they couldn't fit all my belongings in the single truck. I didn't want to pay until the move was complete. They wouldn't unload the first load until I paid them. The driver told me he was specifically instructed by Kelso to get payment in advance of unloading because "this guy is a lawyer and he's going to screw us".

Since we have not finished unpacking, I am not sure if my $3,000 apple powerbook made it to my new home. The computer was in a bag was tagged "DO NOT PACK".

The inexperienced illegals put a large hole in my wall and scratched the wood floors in my home.

I fully expect J Moving, dba All My Sons, to try to screw me over like they have so many of their customers. Fortunately, I am an attorney and I will make sure that my move costs them more than they paid me.
