Commack properties refuses to release security deposits even if you were never late with rent and had a cleaning service. Luxury they are not. Its loud not, enough parking with an assortment of other problems and mismanagements. My lease states 60 days after lease is up your deposit will be returned. Thats not so, before I moved out other tenants approached me stating they will refuse all returns everyone here goes through it. I figuered this couldnt happen to me. The catch is the leasing office is seperate from everything else. And they only have a machine that picks up when you call saying leave a message. I moved out of state so now its a real inconvience to get my $3,400 back. I will have to give them hell. Who has money like that to lend out, these people are crazy forgetting its your money. When I moved in I also had a credit check and paid first months and 2 for security. Take my advice leave ny before renting there.
