We bought windows for our new construction through a refferal from Integrity Windows at a Home Improvement Show. We paid in full and gave a delivery date for sometime between halloween and thanksgiving 2004.
When we didn't get our products, we had to track down through the Distribution Center that our order had never been placed. After much go around, the owner of Aspen Windows and Doors said he no longer had our money (over $19,000)
and didn't know when he could come up with the money. He even asked us for a loan to cover the order. Right.
He's lied several times saying he order the windows - but through the distributor found he has lied. We've contact Integrity Corporation and they have said several times they'll "look into it". Nothing has happend. We've gone and taken off the floor two windows and 3 doors. We are still owed over $14,000 worth of product.
Our contract has left our job, we are living in boxes in the only enclosed part of our house, and plastic covers the windows. Oh, and it's starting to snow. We are devistated. Our lawyer wants $5,000 to put him in jail - but what we want are our windows.
Had we known better, we would have gone throught Home Depot or Lowes. This wasn't worth the trouble. BUYER BEWARE - stay away from small window dealers.
