Advanta Credit Card
Raising interest rates for no reason other than to line their pockets!

Business & Finance Matt418 0

Go ahead and add me to list of innocent hard working consumers that this company has taken advantage off. Started a small business credit card account at 7.99% and after a year of no late payments or ever going over my limit they increased the rate to 24.99%. I never received any notice and it was ...

Advanta Bank Corp
Raised interest rate from 7.9% to 24.99% for no reason

Original card offer sent unsolicited because of my "outstanding credit." My signed agreement was for 7.9% fixed for purchases and 0% for balance transfers for 9 months, then reverting to 7.9% for remainder of the loan. We never had a late payment, and always paid double or triple minimum ...

Advanta Bank Corp
Credit Card APR Ripoff

Beware of ADVANTA BANK CORP credit cards. I had mine over two years with an APR of 8.45%. When my balance got over several thousands the APR increase to 16.99% and then 34.99% within a couple of months. I never exceeded my credit limit or made a late payment and the payments were always double or ...

Beware of Advanta's low introductory rates. Don't fall for it. The attractive rates are merely to lure in unsuspecting prey. This greed-driven company just raised my interest rates on a Business Platinum card from 7.99% to 34.99%... Overnight. When I called to find out why, the rude customer ...

I went online today to pay my monthly statement on Advanta and found an abnormally high interest charge. I called the customer center and found out that they raised my interest rate from 9.99% to 24.99%. Their defense is a change in lending criteria. I have promptly cancelled the card and will ...

Advanta
Credit Application Trick-Bag

Business & Finance Jt28 0

This card is pathetic. Offers the best balance transfer offers in the industry... The catch is that after they sign you up and run your credit report, they give such a low balance to start out that the balance transfers don't go through. We have a new business and both of us, the owners, have ...
