Bank Of America
Credit card rate raised from 9.90 to 23.99 percent after MBNA takeover

Business & Finance James1493 0

Folks: I have a credit card that was issued by MBNA. The credit card became a Bank of America card when BOA took over MBNA. I used this card to roll over some other debt. The interest rate I was issued was supposed to be 9.90% for the life of the balance. I have paid every payment earlier. The ...

Refusing to Accept On Time Payments without a Fee Ripoff

MBNA has raised my credit card interest rate from 7.90% to 26.74% even though I had never missed a payment or paid late and raising my rate to 26.74% is going to force me into bankruptcy. I'm not as ignorant and uninformed as MBNA may think I am. I realise the banking industry controls Congress and ...

I've been an MBNA card holder for years. Recently I've seen my interest rate creep up to over 14%, well above any other card I hold. Not a problem—I pay off every month, usually around the 18th or 19th as a due date. Suddenly in DECEMBER (a coincidence? I doubt it), I find my payment due date on ...

Business & Finance Larry304 0

Called them for account payoff and got some guy who had an accent that made him almost impossible to understand. I paid them that amount. I am now getting bills from them saying that I owe them more intrest. (they jacked up their rates to 25% is why I paid them off). Called them and got a total ...
