Priceline.com
Itinerary through Salt Lake City arriving at midnight made tickets unusable

Priceline.com misleads buyers by soliciting travel preferences prior to a transaction, but not disclosing specific travel arrangements until after acceptance. These travel arrangements, whether acceptable or not, then become binding and provide no flexibility whatsoever. Tickets purchased with ...

Hotel bid accepted for the wrong date and charged $25 to cancel

Traveling & Tourism Anonymous 23383 0

On August 18th I decided to try to secure lodging in Champaign, IL on November 2nd. I have used Priceline.com about a dozen times in the past and had much success with it. I submitted 4 bids and each were rejected, which I have no qualms with. The 5th bid I submitted I got. I noticed though that ...

Traveling & Tourism Anonymous 21673 0

I signed up online for a "free" 3-month trial membership. Travelers Advantage was supposed to send member info including all member benefits and a list of participating hotels which give 50% off to members. Within two and a half months I had not received the member info, so I called to ...

Travel Values Plus
Deceptive company ripoff

Traveling & Tourism Anonymous 20171 0

This offer is a glorified AAA Deal nothing more and they charge more for this service. Rule of thumb, if it offers free towing steer clear! I get "free towing" (read as reimbursment) from three different companies. I could make $75 extra if had to tow my car LOL. ...

Priceline.com
Billed $400 for hotel rooms after offers were rejected

Education & Science Anonymous 12672 0

Here's the BOTTOM line about Priceline.com... Don't use them if your life depends on it! A friend of mine recommended Priceline.com to me, and I'd thought that I would give it a try. What the heck? I could get a hotel room for any price that I wanted. So I bid for a Hotel Room in New Orleans for ...
