Ripped off by Unifund even though I had paid Providian
I had owed Providian $2,300 back in Feb. Of 2004. I was getting refinanced and they were part of the money I needed to pay to restore my credit. Out of the blue, Unifund took me to court for this money. I told the judge I was getting refinanced and he gave me a date to pay them by. I paid in time ...
