I drive a 1993 Honda Civic. The Clutch went out and I took the car to Cottman Transmissions to be fixed. This was at the begining of September it is now mid-October and I have to take the car back in because I can hardly shift the gears. It drives worse now than it did before I got the clutch replaced. This will be the third time I have had to take it back.
Now, Let's back track. Cottman called me to pick my car up the day I had it fixed (the first time). Once I paid for the repairs I went to go get in the car to leave the shop. I noticed that their was a rip in my drivers seat. The interior in my car was in good condition and the seat was not ripped when I dropped the car off. I went back inside to alert the manager (his name is Jack) of the problem. He looked at the seat and told me to get a written estimate. I have been back to the shop several times because my clutch is not working right and because of my seat. Cottman won't cooperate on either matter.
I am a third year law student and I am well versed on consumer law. So they will fix the seat and the clutch or it's I will take them to court and the company will be called "Ronnika's Transmission." Just kidding... But I insist they make me whole again. Put me in the condition I would have been in had my repairs been done correctly and had my seat not been ripped. Stay away from cottman.
