While on vacation I attempted to pay my bill on line as usual. Could not get thru. Tried at least a dozen times. When I got home I tried and did not succeed. Called and was told that their site had been changed and I was given a new password, which I am still using. Got charged a late fee as it was long past the due date (rightfully so).
I called asking to have the late fee removed and was told there site was working fine when I made the payment so they would not remove the late fee. I explained the situation about the attempts to log on and again was told that the day the payment was made the system was working. They refuse to even acknowledge a letter that I sent
You must all realize that the auto dealers get a larger kickback from Americredit than from any other finance company. Don't tell me what I signed "on or before", is my fault, as every lending institution gives you a grace period of up to ten days. They got my $25.00 late fee but I guarantee it will cost them much more in the long run by the time I am thru with them and the Ford Dealer that makes $50,000 per month going thru them.
