Two Chicago Midas shops with the same franchise owner — one on Roosevelt Road near Canal Street and the other at Grand Avenue just west of LaSalle — are playing fast and loose with the law on giving customers a written receipt.
The boss says they always provide a written report, but they don't seem to want to offer it to those who don't ask. Too bad for all the people who thought their warranted work from another Midas shop is worth the paper it is written on. Midas sucks, and these two shops are no different. Don't go to Midas.
